Indeed, and I do.. but this takes a lot of time and CPU power.. It's quite often quicker to download the thing that it does to rip/encode - especially with episodic content (where it's easy to accidently miss an episode, or get the in the wrong order)
Although DVDs can be ripped to a HD - just of course, it's illegal.
